Privacy Policy for UPolyline CAD Plugin

1. Scope of Application

This Privacy Policy applies to "UPolyline CAD Plugin" (hereinafter referred to as the "UPolyline") developed by our company and published on Microsoft Store. UPolyline is an ObjectARX dynamic link library running on AutoCAD, which provides functions including curve array, vectorization, FFD deformation, batch drawing and other engineering drawing tools.

The third-party application AutoCAD is a product of AutoDESK company. UPolyline is a plugin running on AutoCAD, and AutoCAD requires users to obtain their own usage authorization.

This policy informs all Windows users of UPolyline about our rules for collecting, using, storing and protecting device data and file information.

2. Information We Collect & Collection Purposes

2.1 Hardware Device Identifiers (Mandatory for License Verification)

Collected data: CPU serial number, hard disk unique ID, device machine code, Windows OS version, AutoCAD software version.

Purposes of collection:

• Verify official purchase licenses from Microsoft Store, distinguish Store official versions, self-distributed versions and agency versions to prevent piracy.
• Offline license validation. Raw machine code data will NOT be permanently stored on cloud servers.
• Troubleshooting compatibility issues when users submit crash reports with matching device environment data.

Storage rules: Machine codes are only temporarily written to the user-isolated Windows Registry area within MSIX sandbox. No writing to system global Registry. All registry license records will be automatically deleted once UPolyline is uninstalled.

2.2 Local CAD Drawing File Access (Required for Drawing Functions)

• Only read geometric data (lines, curves, coordinates, layers) of .dwg/.dxf drawings actively opened and edited by users.
• We will NOT read or upload drawing notes, project names, confidential enterprise materials or private annotations.
• All geometric data is only processed in local memory to execute curve lofting, equal division array, vectorization and other drawing functions. No automatic uploading of drawing files will occur.

2.3 Runtime Logs & Crash Reporting (User Opt-in Only)

Collected data: UPolyline crash stack traces, AutoCAD version, Windows version, usage records of functional commands.

Usage rules:

• Log uploading is disabled by default.
• Crash logs will only be uploaded after users manually confirm via the "Submit Error Report" pop-up window.
• Logs exclude complete hardware serial numbers and full drawing content, and are solely used for version iteration and bug fixes.

2.4 Information We Never Collect

• Personal identity information including full name, mobile number, ID card, bank card and payment records.
• Device permissions such as microphone, camera and geographic location.
• Irrelevant documents, spreadsheets, images or other files stored in other folders on your computer.
• Browser history, social application chat records.

3. Rules for Information Usage & Sharing

• Internal exclusive usage: All local data is only used for UPolyline license verification, drawing function calculation and fault repair. We will never sell or rent user device data to third-party commercial entities.
• Limited third-party data transmission:
  • Microsoft Official Platform: Only Microsoft Store backend can obtain your purchase authorization status via Windows system API. We cannot access your Microsoft account or payment records.
  • Legal regulatory requirements: Necessary data will be provided only when formal legal documents from law enforcement authorities are received.
• No third-party statistical SDKs or advertising SDKs are integrated into UPolyline; no third-party data collection behavior exists.

4. Local Data Storage & Security Protection

• All hardware identifiers and temporary configurations are stored only in user-isolated Registry and local UPolyline cache folders.
• No permanent cloud storage of device machine codes or drawing data.
• All cache files and Registry license records will be completely and automatically cleared upon UPolyline uninstallation.
• Basic encryption algorithms are applied to local data to prevent unauthorized local programs from reading license information.

5. User Control Rights Over Personal Information

• Disable log uploading: Users may permanently turn off crash report uploads via Settings - About inside UPolyline.
• Clear local license cache: Cleanup and Uninstall UPolyline to clear all local license cache.
• Information inquiry: You may submit an inquiry email to apply for checking device identifier data stored on your local machine.
• Refuse data collection: If you disallow reading device machine codes, license verification functions will fail, and UPolyline can only run in trial mode.

6. Microsoft Store Supplementary Statement

• All UPolyline payments, subscriptions, refunds and license verification are fully processed through the official Microsoft Store system. We have no access to your Microsoft account or payment details.
• Product prices and promotions displayed on the Store page are configured via Microsoft Partner Center backend. No external payment links or custom purchase channels are embedded inside UPolyline.
• A clickable hyperlink directing to this online privacy policy page is permanently placed on UPolyline’s About page for instant full review.

7. Minor Protection

This UPolyline is developed for professional mechanical and architectural drafters aged 18 and above. We will not actively collect any personal information from users under 18. Minors shall use this software under full supervision of legal guardians.

8. Policy Update Mechanism

• This privacy policy page on the official website will be updated if functions or data collection rules change.
• Major policy revisions will be notified via pop-up reminders upon UPolyline startup for users to review updated terms.
• Your continuous use of UPolyline constitutes your acceptance of the revised privacy policy. You may stop using the software by uninstalling UPolyline if you disagree with updated clauses.
